 Willard A. Stoddard

November 20, 1925 – May 18, 2013   (Grandfather to Hollie Lane)
Willard A. Stoddard, born November 20, 1925 to Leland and Hazel (Marrison) Stoddard, passed away May 18, 2013.  Mr. Stoddard was a World War II veteran who served in the Army motor pool.  He was a resident of Bath since 1958.   Willard worked at Motor Wheel for 7 years and at Michigan State University as a locksmith for over thirty years.  He loved to cook, hunt and trap and enjoyed gardening, puzzles, bird watching and feeding.  He was very devoted to his family.  He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Reva A. Stoddard; his sons, Mark (Margo) Stoddard, Neil Stoddard, and Brian (Debbie) Stoddard; daughter, Gail (Jeff) Geasler; ten granddaughters; two grandsons; five great-granddaughters; 2 great-grandsons; one brother and one aunt.  Funeral services for Mr. Stoddard will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 24, at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes DeWitt Chapel, 205 E. Washington, DeWitt, Michigan, with Pastor Joe Gerkin officiating.  Interment with military honors will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bath, Michigan.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, at the funeral home.  Those desiring may make contributions to Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, PO Box 30480, Lansing, MI 48909, in memory of Willard Stoddard.

Mother of Pam Clark

Born on February 23, 1930 in Eaton Rapids, the daughter of the late Robert and Lucile (Boody) Serrels, passed away May 13, 2013 at the age of 83.  Preceded in death by her parents; life partner, Daniel VanWormer; son, Robert; as well as several brothers and sisters.  Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Penny (John), Deborah, Pamela, Kelly, Stewart, Dennis (Marcella), Tom (Pat), Edsel, and Greg; two step sons Gary and Bill(Carol); numerous grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brother, Roland (Gwen); and sister, Phyllis.  Pat was a dedicated employee of St. Vincent Home for Children for 20 years.  During her free time she loved spending time with her family, grandkids and her dog, Biscuit.  Pat will be missed by all who knew and loved her.  A funeral service will be held on Thursday May 16, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave, Lansing, MI.

Jackie Fenby, wife of Richard Fenby passed away Friday morning December 28, 2012.  Jackie’s visitation will be at Calvary Baptist Church of Lansing at 9:00am with the funeral at 10:00am.  A funeral dinner will follow the trip to the cemetary (sometime after 12:00pm).  Please keep Richard and his family in your prayers.

Dorothy Luise Bowen

Dorothy Luise Bowen, born October 14, 1927, passed away December 26, 2012 at the age of 85.  Visitation will be 11:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m. and funeral to follow begining at 12:00 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home | 900 E. Vernon Wood went to be with his Lord and Savior, July 10, 2012 at the age of 80. Born on September 5, 1931 in St. Louis, MI. He was the son of James and Gladys (Curtice) Wood. Vernon married Faith (Coe) Wood on November 7, 1953 in Holt, MI and she survives him.

Vernon is also survived by three children, Deborah (Tom) West of Lansing, Verna (Brian) Batterbee of DeWitt, Dennis (Annette) Wood of St. Johns, seven grandchildren, Nathaniel (Naomi) Batterbee, Jordan Batterbee, Elizabeth West, Emily (Chad) VanDamme, Thomas West, Sarah Wood, Joshua Wood, seven great grandchildren, sister, Maxine Donick, sister-in-law, Mildred Wood as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Vernon Matthew Wood, four brothers, two sisters and one nephew, Ron Wood.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 13, 2012 at the Osgood Funeral Home in St. Johns with Pastor Ron Sischo officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Rest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial donations for Vernon may be made to the Child Evangelism Fellowship of Lansing.

ANDREA M. DUNDORE

ANDREA M. DUNDORE died Thursday, September 24, 2009 at the age of 65. She was born April 25, 1944 in Philadelphia, PA the daughter of Rev. Wilbur and Edith (Fisher) McCullough.  She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, a homemaker and Christian school teacher. On July 30, 1966 she married Pastor Glenn Dundore and he survives her. Also surviving is one daughter, Teri (Curt) Petrak of St. Johns, MI; one son, Dan (Susanna) Dundore of New Hampshire; seven grandchildren, Karis, Brandon, Brock and Cayden Petrak, Calvin, Abigail and Easton Dundore; one brother Bill McCullough of Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held 4:30 pm Sunday, September 27, 2009 at Calvary Baptist Church 14769 Wood Rd. Lansing, MI with Pastor Curt Petrak officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends 2:30 pm until service time at the church. Interment will take place Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at Birchardville Cemetery in Birchardville, PA.
